This unique pendant from Alex Sepkus is made of fordite, which is old automotive paint that has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. Fordite is formed from the buildup of layers of enamle paint slag on tracks and skids, on which cars were hand spray-painated (a now automated process). This material has only recently been recycled and introduced into jewelry. The pendant hangs from Alex Sepkus's signature "Sticks and Stones" bail in 18K yellow gold with a single white diamond.
